Pomodoro Timer
A simple 25 minute focus timer with quick 5 and 15 minute break presets. No account required.
Build a focus session you can repeat
Choose one specific task before pressing Start: outline one section, review one document or solve one exercise. The default focus interval is 25 minutes. When it finishes, the page counts one completed 25-minute session during this visit. Choose a five-minute break yourself, then start another focus interval. A fifteen-minute preset is available for a longer break.
What the session count means
Only a completed 25-minute countdown adds to the count. Pausing and resuming the same countdown does not add extra sessions. Other durations and break presets do not count. Refreshing or closing the page clears the visit's count. The tool does not automatically start the next phase, so a missed alert will not silently begin another work period.
Make the interval useful
For a writing task, use the first interval to outline, the second to draft, and the third to review. Keep a separate note of interruptions instead of changing tasks immediately. If 25 minutes is a poor fit, change the duration; this is a pacing aid rather than a claim that everyone concentrates best for the same length of time.
Prepare the alert
Use Test sound before starting and keep the device awake. Background restrictions can delay an alert, and closing the page stops it. The browser timer guide explains these limits. For an unrestricted duration without a session count, use the general countdown timer.
